Meet Our Dentist

Our lead dentist, Dr. Bradford Klassman, holds a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Temple University. He also has a post-doctorate Certificate in Periodontics and Implantology from the University of Pennsylvania. His passion for dentistry extends beyond clinical practice, as he is also the co-founder of the New Castle Dental Study Club.

Our Team

Dr. Brad is assisted by a team of Registered Dental Hygienists, who are friendly, compassionate, and professional. They also have extensive knowledge of everything related to dental health. When you visit our clinic, our dental hygienists will educate you on the best way to care for your teeth and gums. They will also take you through diagnostic tests and help you clean your teeth in preparation for dental procedures.

We also have a Certified Dental Assistant whose primary role is to help our dentist prepare patients for surgery. They also help the dentist perform different procedures, including surgery, x-rays, and dental fillings. Other roles include sanitizing equipment, confirming and scheduling appointments, and maintaining dental records.

Our Services

At Delaware Periodontics, we leverage modern dental technology to provide long-term solutions. Below are some of our key services:

Dental Implants

We believe that losing a tooth should not be anything more than a temporary setback. This is why our services are designed to restore your smile and boost your confidence.

For a dental implant procedure to be successful, you require strong jawbones for support. Unfortunately, some patients do not have enough jawbone due to infection or genetics. Our dentist will use bone grafting technology to encourage jawbone growth and ensure the implants are strongly attached.

Periodontics

Our periodontics services help prevent, diagnose, and treat gum disease and other conditions affecting the gums. We use less invasive procedures like gum grafting and Chao Pinhole Surgical Treatment to manage gum disease. These methods are painless and have quicker recovery timeframes, allowing you to resume your regular life sooner.

We also use the Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) technology. The technology is FDA-approved and allows us to treat gum disease without using traditional scalpels. This results in far less bleeding, causes little to no pain, and leaves the healthy gum tissues in place.

Cosmetic Solutions

Periodontal issues extend beyond diseases and infection. For instance, you may simply want to enhance the aesthetics of your teeth and gums. This may be due to gum recession, where the gums appear smaller, or a gummy smile. People with gummy smiles seem to have shorter or smaller teeth when they smile due to excessive gum tissue. At our dental clinic, we address these concerns and provide other comprehensive solutions to improve your smile and boost your self-esteem.

Preventative Care

We believe that prevention is always better than cure. We offer diagnostic services for dental and periodontal diseases to help you discover and treat dental issues before they worsen. We also provide periodontal maintenance services, including regular checkups and deep cleanings. And if you are not sure how to keep your gums and teeth in good condition, our team is ready to offer dental advice.

FAQs

Many of our patients and prospective new ones have questions about our clinic. The most common questions are answered below.

Do you offer flexible payment plans?

We work with CareCredit, a health financing solutions provider, to ensure our patients get the best dental care on credit. CareCredit offers credit facilities starting at 0 percent APR, so you do not have to pay extra. We also accept credit card payments and are open to negotiating extended payment plans.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

We advise patients to book appointments a few days in advance. Once we receive your request, we will give you an appointment within one to three days. This gives us ample time to plan and offer quality services, no matter the condition.

What are your office hours?

We are open five days a week, except weekends. From Mondays to Wednesdays, we are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursdays and Fridays, we close at 4 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

Can I receive a consultation or treatment virtually?

To provide the best services to our patients, we recommend in-person visits to our clinic. This way, our staff can perform more accurate assessment and diagnostic tests and advise you on the best course of action. We will also be able to customize your treatment plan depending on your specific needs.

Can I schedule multiple appointments in one visit?

We aspire to give our patients conclusive solutions to all their periodontal concerns. Depending on your specific concerns and the procedures involved, we can easily schedule multiple appointments in a single visit.

Do you accept patients from outside your immediate area?

Delaware Periodontics is committed to providing quality dental solutions to all patients, regardless of location. Feel free to book your appointment, and we will be happy to discuss how we can help you achieve your dental goals.
